We are proud to offer Cam re-slinging and trigger repair for most Cams on the market. We have two material options for slings-15mm Nylon or 14 mm Dyneema in most colors. We can accommodate most camming units depending on make and year.
Majority of manufacturers recommend replacing slings with normal use every 5 years. Damaged slings or slings that show heavy wear should be retired or replaced immediately. It is up to you to determine if your cams are safe to climb on- and when to retire your gear. By submitting your cams in for repair (for slings and triggers), you are responsible for inspecting your cams are safe to use. Runout Customs reserves the right to deny service to any cam sent in for repair. If you have any questions please send us an email BEFORE sending in your cams. Some cams can only receive a specific type of sling- please contact us if you have any questions. Typical turn around time is 2-4 work days (no weekends or holidays) We do have a few guidelines on what we can service: -No slings on anything with a bare cable (u-stem camalots) or a damaged eyelet/thumbloop (kinked cables, cracked thumb loop, etc.) -We do not resling tri-cams -We can not repair any kevlar trigger wires (master cams, X4's, etc) -No Triggers on TOTEM Cams or Omega Pacific link cams -No Slung Hexes or stoppers - We can not resling current DMM Dragon cams (we do not stock the webbing size required) -Camalot C4's will receive a reinforced nylon loop only Please Make sure your cams are clean and serviceable. You may leave the original sling on the cam when send in, or you can cut them off prior. Please fill out the Cam Repair Form BEFORE you mail us your cams- This helps us keep track of our workload and keep an eye out for whats coming in. You WILL NOT receive a confirmation email after the form is submitted. |
